The Leitz IQ OptiMax 225 is a high-security home office shredder offering DIN P-5 micro-cut performance, ideal for secure disposal of up to 6 sheets of A4 (80gsm) paper in just 6 seconds. It also effortlessly handles staples and paper clips, eliminating the need for manual removal beforehand. With a continuous runtime of 20 minutes, it's perfectly suited for consistent use in home or small office environments.
Equipped with innovative Bin Rotation Technology (BRT), the shredder maximises the bin's storage efficiency by 45%*, flattening shredded material for more even paper distribution and extended shredding capacity. The 15-litre bin holds up to 225 A4 sheets and is illuminated with a blue light during operation, while the 'bin full' alert only activates once the bin is completely full - eliminating unnecessary interruptions. The intuitive LED display provides clear notifications for bin full, door open, overheating, and overload.
The OptiMax 225 is engineered for ultra-quiet performance, helping maintain a calm working environment, especially when used with Leitz oil papers regularly. Its sleek, space-saving circular design fits easily into corners or compact areas, and four high-quality castor wheels ensure smooth movement between locations.
