The Intimus 85 CP5 is a discreet and highly efficient office shredder, designed to meet all your document disposal needs. Shredding documents directly in the office enables the immediate disposal of sensitive information, significantly enhancing security and ensuring compliance with data protection regulations. With a precise 1.9x15mm cross-cutting mechanism, it effortlessly handles paper documents with staples and paper clips, plastic cards, and foil laminated documents, providing high levels of security to protect your confidential data (P-5 / T-5* / F-2 / E-4**).
Designed for large office environments, the Intimus 85 CP5 features manual feed operation with an intake width of 235 mm, accommodating A4 paper formats. The shredder achieves a cutting speed of 4.8 metres per hour and can process between 10 to 12 sheets of 80gsm paper at a time, reaching throughputs of up to 194 sheets per minute. It operates continuously, maintaining a low idle noise level of just 55 dB(A), ideal for minimising disruptions in busy workplaces.
The shredder is equipped with an 85-litre reusable waste bag housed in a sturdy metal frame, capable of holding up to 1,740 shredded sheets. Mobility is effortless thanks to integrated castors, allowing easy movement within the workspace. The compact dimensions of 45x39x99 cm and a weight of 32kg ensure the unit fits neatly into a variety of office settings while maintaining high performance and capacity.
User operation is intuitive with the i-control system, which provides clear visual status indicators for readiness, material jams, door open, bin full, motor overload, and when oiling is required. The machine includes automatic start/stop functionality, auto-reverse to clear jams, and an automatic switch-off after five minutes of inactivity for improved energy efficiency. It runs on a 220-230V, 50Hz power supply with a motor power consumption of 530W.
