The Klindex EDWARD 500 Series MATTING Cardboard Shredder is engineered as a robust and sustainable solution for cardboard recycling needs, ideal for transforming used cartons into an elastic mesh that offers excellent protection for packaging fragile items.
Powered by a 3HP single-phase motor, the EDWARD 500 excels in creating a mesh-like pattern. It efficiently processes up to 10 cubic metres of cardboard per hour through a 500x20mm entry throat that accommodates various box sizes. Compact in design, with dimensions of 130x116x83cm, it easily integrates into any warehouse or recycling setup without demanding excessive space.
Among its standout features are its ability to operate continuously for 8 hours at a noise level of just 55 dB and a voltage requirement of 220-240V 50-60Hz. Weighing 300kg, the shredder is both solid and manageable. It is backed by a 1-year warranty covering the machine and its cutters, underscoring its reliability and the manufacturer's commitment to customer satisfaction.
The EDWARD 500 is designed with user convenience in mind. It features a lateral opening in the cutting mouth that automatically trims excess cardboard, allowing for the processing of cartons of any size. Beyond cardboard, it can shred CDs, floppy disks, credit cards, and cardboard containing staples. A handy viewing window and a door for blade cleaning facilitate maintenance and blade inspection. At the same time, operation is simplified with simple on/off/reverse controls, complemented by an emergency safety stop.
This shredder is equipped with a connection for dust extraction systems, an oversized motor for outstanding reliability, and a scratch-resistant powder coating.
Please note that the EDWARD 500 STRIPS, MATTING, and CHIPS models come with legs but do not include wheels (sold separately).
