The Intimus VZ 14.00 Heavy-Duty Shredder Baler provides a comprehensive solution for the destruction of sensitive data, meeting the increasing global demands for higher security. This robust system features a two-stage shredding process with a pre-shredder and a security shredder, ensuring efficient breakdown of personal data into minuscule particles. The wide input table has an integrated conveyor belt, feeding the material into the pre-shredder, which produces 6x50mm particles. The cut material then falls directly onto a conveyor belt leading into the post-shredder that further reduces them to 2x15mm, guaranteeing a security level of P-5 according to DIN 66399 (ISO/IEC 21964).
The VZ 14.00 is simple to use thanks to its clear control panel with safety concept and security device. The durable, high-quality steel cutter cylinders can process stapled materials and are designed for longevity. The system's high throughput is supported by a powerful, thermo-protected geared motor, ensuring smooth, continuous operation with an ability to feed 80-90 sheets at a time. In case of overloading, the shredder units automatically reverse and then resume normal operation.
Additionally, the VZ 14.00 shredder has a built-in automatic lubricator that maintains consistent cutting performance and quality. Safety is also prioritized with a wide emergency stop bar that can instantly halt machine operation.
The attached baler system enhances the efficiency of the VZ 14.00 shredder by producing compact, stable 60-80kg bales. It electronically monitors the fill level of the bale chamber and triggers the bale compression automatically, allowing the shredder to continue operating at the same time. A visual signal indicates when a bale is ready, temporarily interrupting the cutting process for push-button bale ejection. This system not only compacts the shredded material by approximately 70% compared to loose collection but also facilitates clean, low-dust transport and weather-protected packaging of compact bales. Adjustments to the bale weight can be made by a technician according to requirements.
