The 9000 degausser with Auditor-Pro from Intimus is a high-volume, rapid degaussing solution designed for efficient and secure data destruction. This powerhouse can completely erase all data from hard drives or tapes in just 3 seconds using a 10,000 gauss (1 tesla) magnetic field. Thanks to its oversized media slot, it's ideal for environments where time and security are critical; the 9000 degausser enables swift and continuous operation without the need for cool-down periods and is capable of erasing up to 4,500 small drives (1.8" or 2.5") and 450 standard to full-height hard drives per hour (using the Auditor-Pro system, the throughput is 240 drives/tapes per hour).
Operation is straightforward:
- Inserting the media automatically starts the degauss cycle.
- In three seconds, the media is degaussed and released down the slide, immediately beginning pre-charging for the next cycle.
- Turning off the device safely discharges any pre-charged energy.
The 9000 degausser plugs into any standard wall outlet worldwide and is built to function continuously, reflecting its ability to handle demanding tasks. Each cycle's magnetic field strength is confirmed by on-board diagnostics, ensuring complete data erasure, with results displayed on an LCD that shows gauss field strength, cycle count, job count, and diagnostics.
The 9000 degausser features Intimus' Auditor-Pro Erasure and Destruction Verification system, which provides complete documentation that data has been completely eliminated. The Auditor-Pro system comes with an easy-to-use touchscreen control head, stylus, automated image capture system, barcode scanner, and scanner stand.
The Auditor-Pro system captures and records images of the degaussed media. The barcode scanner scans the serial number of hard drives and the machine documents the operator ID, date, time, and erasure status of the degaussed hard drive. The Auditor-Pro system then generates an erasure report with images to be used for audit purposes.
The 9000 degausser is shielded, so there's no magnetic influence on surrounding, making it an ideal choice for offices that need reliable, fast, and verifiable data destruction.
