The Shredpack SP430-3PH Cardboard Carton Shredder is the largest model in the Shredpack range and provides a powerful solution for recycling waste cardboard into flexible lattice matting. This environmentally friendly process not only reduces the need for purchasing void-fill materials like bubble wrap and packing chips but also cuts disposal costs associated with skip hire and carton compaction. Capable of shredding cardboard up to 420mm wide and 20mm thick, the SP430-3PH operates at a rate of 16 metres per minute, producing up to 7-10 cubic metres of high-quality void fill per hour. Its integrated cutting system trims and processes cardboard in a single pass, allowing operators to create matting that is ideal for cushioning and protecting a wide variety of shipped goods.
Engineered for demanding industrial use, the SP430-3PH has an unlimited run time, a 1.5kW motor, and is built to class IE2 energy efficiency, which is up to 30% more energy efficient, using less electricity for the same performance. It supports cleaner operation as it has an outlet for use with a dust reduction unit. The shredder is CE and EMC compliant for safe use in professional environments. Designed with convenience and reliability in mind, it starts softly to reduce wear and noise, and is among the first shredders to comply with BS EN ISO 13857:2008 safety standards. Despite its high capacity, the shredder has a compact footprint of just 0.7 square metres, making it easy to integrate into warehouse or packing station layouts. It requires a 3-phase 415V 16-amp power supply and is supplied with a 2-year return-to-base manufacturer's warranty.
