The JBF 35-50HD Flash Mobile Hard Drive Shredder has been especially designed for use on Trucks and Trailers to completely destroy Hard Drives and Discs and other media initially to 30mm pieces, and then continue to grind down to as small as 6mm particles meeting the most stringent requirements for Secret and Top Secret Destruction. This model comes with a separate Flash Media Compartment designed for shredding small media, such as flash drives, memory cards etc, producing a 5.5mm particle, exceeding DIN Security Level E3.
The JBF 35-50HD Flash is a flexible Shredder/Disintegrator with various options for feeding and exiting of all types of Media Products. It is designed for high throughput with a cutting zone of approx. 350 x 500 mm. The hard wearing knives continuously cut drives until they are small enough to fall through a hardened granulation screen of a defined size for absolute security destruction. Available down to 6mm, this small particle size meets the stringent requirements of most worldwide government departments.
The Shredding unit consists of a robust steel support frame, designed to accept a standard 117 litre wheelie bin with optional conveyor feed and exit available. The 35-50HD Hard Drive Shredder is available in various cutting sizes that are governed by the interchangeable screens: 14mm, 12mm, 10mm, 8mm, 6mm and 2mm (2mm designed for SSD.s Other Sizes Available). Two slow revolving shafts offer low-noise and low wear, this low RPM eliminates the risk of spontaneous combustion. Throughput is dependent on the size of screen fitted and the material being shred but will typically be between 35 - 150 standard Hard Drives per hour.
The cutting shafts can be individually changed and re-sharpened and the cutters are made of hard wearing hardened steel. The connection between shafts and knives is by means of extra strong multi-key latching and a split cutting block which allows the complete knife shafts to be lifted out of the housing for quick exchange. A High Torque 5.5kW motor is fitted as standard to run at 12 revolutions per minute to avoid sparking. Safety limit switches on the doors and hopper prevent any unauthorized operation of the shredder and each model features an Emergency Stop button.
Please note that due to the nature of this product and the requirement to shred Metal parts the Guarantee does not include general wear and tear. Magnetic parts require removal on a weekly basis and units should be placed under a Preventative Maintenance.
The main cutting unit without an optional screen shreds to DIN 66399 levels T1 / H4 / E2; the auxiliary cutting unit to DIN 66399 levels F1 / O3 / T4 / E3.
Warranty Terms
Standard warranty is 6 months from date of delivery for non-wear and tear parts in a one-shift operation or 1,000 working hours. Normal wear and tear of the knives and screens is excluded from the warranty and is subject to the manufacturers operating instructions. Inappropriate use of the machine would include but is not limited to improper installation, commissioning, set-up, operation or servicing of the machine. The machine was designed for safe operation by trained and instructed staff only and is not designed to be used by children. No other work may be performed on the machine during cleaning or servicing. The warranty will be void in the event of incorrect installation, start-up, set-up, maintenance; unauthorised physical/structural modification of the machine; unauthorised intervention into the control system; emplacement and use of unapproved components and spare parts; faulty repairs by non-trained and authorized personnel.
