Packer Cushion Pack CP424CMi Cardboard Packaging Shredder (CP424CMi)

The CP424CMi Shredder is a single-phase unit that plugs into a standard 13amp socket, and shreds card products up to 15mm thick at a rate of 12 metres per minute, making pourable cushioning chips to product protect a host of items on demand. This machine comes complete with chip collector.

These machines are fitted with a power inverter as required by the IEC3 Premium Efficiency standard – it is not recommended to connect them to a power circuit protected by an RCD or RCBO device, as this may cause nuisance tripping. If connection to a protected circuit is unavoidable we suggest the use of a Type B protection device, although this still may not completely eliminate the tripping but will reduce it.

Please note that whilst these machines will shred staples Packer recommends customers remove them where possible as it will increase the wear on the cutting head and therefore shorten the life of the machine. Furthermore, most users will want to remove the staples anyway as if you are using these for packaging materials then any staples left behind may scratch the goods.
