The DAHLE Deskside 404P is a manual-feed shredder equipped with MHP® (Matrix High-Performance) cutting rollers made from high-quality compound steel, offering a long service life and oil- and maintenance-free operation. It accepts 19 to 21 sheets of 80 gsm paper per pass and reduces material to 4x35mm particles. The shredder is capable of handling CDs, DVDs, cards, and paper clips, and achieves security levels P-4, F-1, O-3, T-4, and E-3.
The machine features a powerful 720W motor that supports a long run time of up to 210 minutes. It automatically starts and stops using an integrated light barrier and includes an automatic reverse function to clear excess paper, along with a manual reverse function for additional control. An automatic safety shut-off engages if the waste container is full or open, and visual indicators alert users to overload and overheating conditions.
The shredder includes a pull-out waste container with a 40-litre capacity and an inspection window for monitoring waste levels. With a noise level of 60dB(A) during idle operation and a shredding speed of 2.1 metres per minute, it balances performance with usability. The unit is powered by a 230V supply and features convenient swivel castors for mobility.
