The DiskMantler™ is revolutionising the landscape of hard drive destruction and e-waste recycling. Using precisely controlled shock, harmonics, and synchronised vibrations, the DiskMantler™ simultaneously loosens and ejects all hard drive screws, disassembling decommissioned hard drives into key components in less than 60 seconds. This hands-free, automated process separates the casing, cover, PC board, platters, voice coil, and rare-earth magnets, preparing them for efficient recycling. For welded helium drives, the process takes approximately 120 seconds. By cleanly separating valuable materials, the DiskMantler™ significantly reduces e-waste and maximises the recycling value of each drive's components.

Designed to enhance operational efficiency, the DiskMantler™ fits seamlessly into any environment with a compact footprint of 59.7 x 37.6 x 113.3cm (HxWxD). It supports continuous operation without the need for cooldown periods, ensuring maximum throughput and uptime. The cycle time is adjustable between 8 and 120 seconds depending on the degree of separation desired. Features such as easy maintenance access with quick-disconnect latches and ergonomic side handles, compatibility with HEPA vacuum systems, and a colour-coded light bar to provide visual operational status make the DiskMantler™ both user-friendly and practical. It is CE-certified for safety and emissions and is proudly manufactured in the USA, meeting TAA compliance standards.

Integrating the DiskMantler™ into a secure decommissioning process is straightforward. For best practice, it can be combined with Garner's DeMAG™ super degausser. The DeMAG™ first demagnetises both the HDD disk platters and internal magnets, ensuring data is forensically unrecoverable and making magnet handling more efficient. After degaussing, the DiskMantler™ cleanly disassembles the drive, providing a fully compliant and environmentally friendly solution for end-of-life media processing. Note that solid-state media cannot be degaussed but can still be physically processed.

The DiskMantler™ supports compliance with some of the strictest data protection regulations, including DoD below Top Secret, GDPR, CCPA, HIPAA, NIST SP 800-88r1, and PCI DSS 4.0.
