The SPACESAVER IRONCLAD package offers a complete and secure solution for hard drive and solid-state media destruction by combining the HD-2XTSSE degausser, the NSA EPL-listed PD-5E physical destroyer, and the SSD-1E solid-state destroyer. This powerful system provides full media erasure in under 8 seconds, followed by physical destruction in under 20 seconds, all verified by the exclusive IRONCLAD® Media Erasure and Destruction Verification System. Ideal for secure, compact office environments, the system generates a Certificate of Erasure and Destruction including audit-friendly reports for regulatory compliance.

The IRONCLAD system automatically captures a JPG image of the hard drive immediately after degaussing and generates a proof-of-destruction certificate, including operator ID, witness ID, date, time, location, and serial numbers. Reports are exportable in PDF, CSV, and Excel formats, while the secure password-protected system records the gauss field strength of every degauss cycle and the crush depth of the PD-5E immediately after each cycle. It's operable in 2 modes: "Verification Mode" with prompts for new operators, and "Processing Mode" for faster handling.

Utilising 10,000+ gauss of magnetic force, the HD-2XTSSE degausser erases all data from hard drives and tapes within 8 seconds. This is immediately followed by the PD-5E's powerful crushing action with over 10 tons of force, bending and mangling hard drives beyond recovery. Solid-state media is securely destroyed by the SSD-1E, which uses 90 nickel-plated spikes to perforate and waffle the memory chips, making data recovery impossible. All devices operate from a standard wall outlet and are ETL listed, certified to UL, IEC, CSA, CE, KC and RCM standards, and are fully TAA compliant.

Best practices dictate that degaussing should always precede physical destruction. Degaussing using the HD-2XTSSE ensures that all data on the disc platters is permanently destroyed before any physical crushing takes place. This approach is far more secure than overwriting, as it eliminates the risk associated with faulty or incomplete overwrites and provides immediate, permanent erasure of all data. After degaussing the hard drives, physical destruction from the PD-5E provides visual confirmation that they have been securely processed and are safe to leave the secure environment.

It is important to note that while hard drives must be degaussed and then destroyed, solid-state media cannot be degaussed. Instead, physical destruction with the SSD-1E is recommended before media leaves its secure environment.
