The Klindex EDWARD 700 Series CHIPS Cardboard Shredder is a high-capacity, advanced shredding machine designed for large-scale cardboard recycling operations. It's powered by a 7HP three-phase motor and boasts a cutting capacity of 15 cubic meters per hour. This chip-cut design creates easy-pour void fill or animal bedding, a feature unique to the ED range.
Operating at a quiet 55 dB, the EDWARD 700 ensures minimal noise disturbance while featuring durable steel blades, special gears, and a robust body structure suitable for continuous operation without sacrificing performance. The machine's dimensions stand at 130x116x83cm, weighing 400kg.
The EDWARD 700 differentiates itself with modular cutting heads designed for superior cutting performance and ease of maintenance. These heads are heavy-duty and shaped to handle larger staples and other materials that could jam lesser machines. Individual blades can be replaced if damaged, offering a cost-effective maintenance solution. Additionally, the shredder has a blade inspection window and a door for blade cleaning.

There are on/off/reverse controls and an emergency stop for safety. It can shred CDs, floppy disks, credit cards, and cardboard that contains staples, making it even more versatile. The machine has been equipped with an oversized motor for excellent reliability, scratch-resistant powder coating, heavy-duty gears and bearings, and a sturdy steel casing.
