KOBRA 310 TS-AF HS 0.8x9.5mm Crypto Cut Shredder (99.880AF)

The KOBRA 310 TS-AF HS is an 0,8x9.5mm Crypto Cut shredder (also referred to as the KOBRA 310 TS-AF) with a new larger bin and is a new and innovative machine that can shred up to 13 sheets of paper per pass (up to A3 in size) through the entry throat and/or single sheets through a special automatic feeder that holds 170 sheets. One batch of 170 sheets will take 10 minutes through the auto-feeder. The machine is designed to be completely Jam Free and can be supplied with an optional lockable cover to prevent anyone being able to tamper with the documents during the shredding process. Simply insert the documents to shred into the feeder and the KOBRA 310 TS-AF HS Touch Screen Auto Feed will automatically destroy each document and then turn off once finished to save power. If you only have a small number of sheets to shred, then the KOBRA 310 TS-AF HS will shred 13 sheets to Security Level P-6 through a special bypass slot. CD's/DVD's and Credit Cards are also shredded through a dedicated second set of cutting knives. The KOBRA 310 TS-AF HS High Security shredder comes with a 310mm wide entry throat and is suitable to shred Classified and Top Secret documents for Medium volume users and meet the UK Governments Highest Level Requirements. Designed for Commercial, Military and Government use. The KOBRA 310 TS-AF HS features a touch screen which activates all of the machine functions. For the shredding of transparent materials like acetate and microform simply keep your finger on the Forward control for 5 seconds and the machine will run for 30 seconds.

Approved by many International Governments and Military Bodies, the KOBRA 310 TS-AF HS shredder is also being used by the US Department of State, the CIA, the National Security Agency and by the members of the G8 Summits. A special cutting system can shred an A4 sheet in about 10,000 particles which become absolutely unreadable even if special electronic optical microscopes are used.

This machine features an Auto-Oiler as standard with a warning light when it needs refilling. It can also have a Shred Guard Metal Detection System fitted as an extra to prevent any damage to the cutting system. The model is also equipped with an environmentally friendly Energy smart system™ where the shredder goes into standby mode after 8 seconds of not being used and is restarted by inserting material into the machine. All KOBRA Touch Screen models automatically disconnects from the mains power supply after being idle for 4 hours.

The KOBRA 310 TS-AF HS shredder has 24 hour continuous duty motors, an automatic Start/Stop function, a stand-by function which cuts all power to the unit, a heavy duty chain drive with steel gears and is 100% jam proof. The machine will automatically stop when the collection bag is full or the door is opened and will display a light to show which has occurred. The cabinet is also mounted on casters for ease of movement around the office. This unit can shred CDs into 22.5mm strips with an optional CD cutting unit (sold separately).

N.B. Please note that the KOBRA 310 TS-AF HS auto feeder and manual feed is not designed to accept staples and paperclips. If staples and paperclips are fed into the machine, or if any mechanical damage is caused by constant overloading of equipment, lack of oil (if required), or units are not maintained in accordance with the operating instructions, any damage will not be covered under warranty.
